Commission a portrait
Commission an original hand-drwan portrait of someone you love, or of yourself, for someone you love :^)
Zoë will hand-draw and sign the portrait on beautiful thick watercolour paper.
Once you have ordered the size of portrait you want we will be in touch with instructions about the photograph we need. It needs to be a head and shoulders shot, in focus, with as much detail in the face as possible. The photo can be taken on a mobile phone, you don’t need a fancy camera.
You won't need to sit for the portrait, but we do need to discuss if you want a specific building, item, or some special keepsake included in the background.
The wait time from receiving the confirmed order and suitable photo is 30 days. If you want something for Christmas, we need it by 30th November 2023.

Portraits
The Friends portraits are of close friends and family from America and the UK. It’s great to have your friends around you and learn, through drawing them, what makes their physical features familiar, reassuring, and just great to have near.
I wanted to draw some of the people I wanted near me, and that had supported me during my illness. It was a wonderful feeling having their faces close by when some were actually around 5000 miles away. It really helped and meant a lot to me, I loved drawing the portraits and really want to do more.
You can commission a portrait of you, a friend, or relative. The portraits are 7.5” X 11.5” (19cm X 29cm) or 11" X 14" (28cm X 35.5cm) drawn in pencil with a detailed background that in some way reflects the sitter and their life or connection to another person.
Commission a portrait for $150ea / $300ea. You will recieve the original drawing, and the high-resolution digital printable file.
